Creating Memorable Valentine’s Events for Couples, Families, and Friends

Truth time… I absolutely LOVE Valentine’s Day! When you build a career out of celebrating lifelong commitment and memorable moments, this heartfelt holiday highlights everything I’m passionate about.

One of my favourite things about V-Day is that it isn’t just about honouring romantic love—it’s about anyone and everyone who makes us feel important, cherished, and valued. That’s why this blog post is all about creating a memorable Valentine’s event for couples, family, and friends. Since 2025 lines up on a Friday, I love the idea of a beautiful evening party, or even a Saturday Galentine’s Daybrunch!

No matter what you’re looking for, let cupid shower those most important to you with love, laughter, and cherished memories this holiday!

Rosy Ambiance

You might have already guessed this about me, but I’m obsessed with decorating… And can you blame me?! Setting the tone and atmosphere is one of the best parts about event planning!

Valentine’s Day goes hand-in-hand with pastel pinks, cherry reds, and ivory whites—some of my favourite colour combos.

For a bespoke Galentine’s Day brunch, or even just a more lighthearted dinner party, setting up a long table with soft rose colours and florals can immediately elevate any space.

Designated Photo Corner

No matter if it’s an important milestone in life or just wine night with the girls, we want to immortalize our most treasured memories with photos. Gazing at those images often gives us the warm and fuzzy, ooey-gooey, feel-good emotions like we’re right back there, laughing and treasuring those who matter most.

So I’m always a fan of a designated photo corner…

For Valentine’s Day, think floral walls, a green space with soft accents, kissing booth, balloon wall or arch, simple banners or lit-up phrases, or just candy heart decorations on a clear white backspace.

Leave it to me to make sure your most treasured memories last a lifetime!

Chocolates, Cheeses, Cocktails & Cupcakes

I love a good charcuterie board as much as the next girlie, but when it comes to a holiday like this, you absolutely need a chocolate and cheese fondue set…

With a spread of delicious fresh cut fruits, different types of breads and crackers, plus warm, decadent chocolate and a selection of mouthwatering melted cheese, you've basically brought heaven to your home!

But of course, it wouldn’t be a Valentine’s Day celebration without a candy corner set up for the little ones—or just those of you who have a sweet tooth (like me!). Not to mention themed cocktails and cupcakes!

Heart-Felt Activities

Sometimes an event becomes all the more memorable when you have a designated activity for your guests! Oftentimes it can even act as a keepsake to cherish over time.

A simple—but delicious—idea is the chocolate-covered fruit class where guests get to curate their own take-home box. This is also a great way of putting that fondue to good use! Or fun DIY sunglasses or wine cup decoration.

I’m a big fan of kid-friendly activities like a “break my heart” wall—a new take on the classic “pinata” with a specific V-Day twist. Filling it with candy hearts, chocolate kisses, and other treats keeps the little ones occupied and entertained. It can also work perfectly for any of you who want an anti-love Valentine’s theme!
